Hi Dr, I hope you are well. I came across your reddit posts and am lucky enough to have found your link to your YouTube channel.
I do have a question. I've been struggling with constipation for many years now. I've had so many tests done which come up inconclusive, resulting in me seeming like a sensitive patient and being dealt with like it's psychosomatic. I hurt my tail bone while young. Then after each child, the constipation got worse to the point that nothing will come out unless I do a large range of things and manually extract. At the very first appointment many years ago, the gastroenterologist did a defecography test laying down. He saw then (after first baby) that my coccyx had a very large range of motion. He thought nothing of it but now 12 years later I'm wondering if it's at all possible that ny coccyx is the route cause of my constipation. It feels to be stuck, I'd say just before the rectum? I cannot sit for long periods without pain. If I lay flat on the ground, something in my hips clicks and I can't move or get up without help. Please, if you can find the time, could you please help me or direct me to what to do? I'm at the point in my life where I'm heavily considering getting a colostomy bag. I have to make sure my diet keeps my stools as soft as possible. Could my coccyx have bent in a position to block stools from easily moving down into the rectum? Kind regards.
