Morgan Freeman is literally one of the most well spoken actors in Hollywood. He must've been reading from a badly written script.

James Corden hosting an AMA is impossible not to end in huge disaster

Do these people actually think that someone like Morgan Freeman would be wasting his time on social media?

The Morgan Freeman one is unintentionally hilarious. It's like having a conversation with ChatGPT.

Jared Leto’s AMA didn’t get off to a great start, but when someone asked “what time is it?” he responded with “it’s Morbin’ time” which immediately got fifteen morbillion upvotes. Truly one of the moments of all time.

I actually feel bad for Woody. Unlike several of the others, I genuinely do not believe that he had much of any idea about what Reddit was like before he jumped on it. Someone in his PR team was probably “do an ask me anything on this new platform. It’ll be a good way to appeal to the younger generation.” And he went along with it.

The Morgan Freeman AMA is so weird, it’s just so randomly funny

I will say Woody Harrelson was masterful in season 1 of True Detective, and while he did make a fool of himself on Reddit I still respect him as a Hollywood talent.

Woody wrote whole paragrahs and even replied to negative comments, you gotta give him credit for that.

"It's like they're using reddit as marketing." Thank you, intellectual titans of reddit. This wasn't extremely obvious to anyone with sub room-temperature IQ. I would have continued thinking that celebrities wanted to be friends with everyone if not for your insight.

Sometimes, we shouldn't do AMA's, since Asking someone anything can lead to overexposure of them.

Professional Actor: "I actually would prefer to not talk about this incredibly bizarre, specific, story you made up about my private sex life, thanks."
Redditors: *unceasing shrieking tantrum*

The Morgan Freeman photoshop is like an underaged kid trying to get beer and just has a photo of someone else on the id. It's actually hilarious.

I liked the part where Jared Letto asked himself, “How many pets do you have?”, and then he replies to himself with “Morbius”

The woody Harrelson one was so unfair wow. They asked him some completely unfair question (as in no proof whatsoever and probably made up) and then everyone acted like it was some completely fair thing to ask wtf

In defense of some of this though:
Some of these people seem to just deliberately go into the AMA with resentment for them in the first place, trying to show or confront with (allegedly mind you) dirty laundry - which any person has - or just on the get go looking for confrontation, and then demand they answer them so they can keep up the abuse. And if they don't, they will increase their resentment and create even more drama jumping the gun. Very toxic behaviors.

You can't get anything past an army of Redditors, but you also can't believe what they say. Reddit comments is the best example of don't believe what you read on the internet.

The guy who posted that first reply in Woody Harrelson’s was uncalled for. They could be making it all up and everyone still believed them. It’s sad how easy it is to cancel someone for the wrong reasons

Reddit is a special place, Woody not answering a question about his early sex life results in the worst AMA ever? The only difference between Woody and every other celeb is that he told the user he wasn't answering it, instead of ignoring it. It becoming an AMA meme, and calls to boycott the movie are just the cherries on top.

I remember one time Seth MacFarlane did an AMA where he thought it was just people asking questions for his new show, The Orville. He got confused quickly when he didn't realize you could literally ask anything, hence, an AMA.

To his credit, he realized his mistake, got the mods to make a new thread, started again, and probably had one of the coolest AMAs in Reddit history. Even joked about the previous AMA being his 'biggest career regret'.
