Anyone who was around to witness that 2001 Hurricanes squad knows how that team was just otherworldly talented. Just filthy talent at every position pretty much. If the Canes decided to start the backups that year they would have still destroyed the competition the way they did that year. Ken Dorsey was a very good college quarterback on top of that. Very good 4 year starter. The saying that year was that The 2001 Hurricanes could have beaten the 2001 Cleveland Browns head to head.

2011 Alabama would Beat 08 Florida and 2014 Ohio State. Even with that being said, the 01 canes are arguably the greatest team of all time not even in the last 20 years. That was a literal NFL team in college. Not only did they have an nfl roster they had future hall of famer NFL players not just regular nfl guys. You could line them up against anybody and they would have an advantage

Ken Dorsey might not have had a great NFL career but he was 38-2 as a starter at Miami and was a Heisman finalist 2x and he won a Maxwell Award. To say he isnt a great college QB is just wrong
