The evidence to support this claim is still lacking and therefore, we cannot say whether or not concussions cause long-term brain damage.

Even though the symptoms go away after some time (weeks or months), please take care of yourself, as it will come back later on in your life from my experience. 6 concussions from 17-23, I'm now 25 and I have so many different issues that I never experienced before. Things like issues focusing, concentration when talking to people, memory loss, stupid headaches, sometimes it's like my brain is tapping out, I'm not there anymore, simply in my head. My first concussion was a massive hit to the head, but the next ones, it was simple burst to the head that would simply be brushed off, but no. Concussion after concussion, your brain does get fragile after you experienced it once. Even though there's not a lot of studies done on it, from my experience it will catch up to you later on, sooner than later. Take care of you everyone. You'll be the one living with the consequences. Studies are paid by people that will profit from them. Of course when there's nothing they can do, they won't pay for studies to be made to find things they can't profit from, so studies are missing on long-term effects of concussions. Talk to anyone that got a lot of concussions a while back, and ask them if they are still affected in some way, and from my own damn experience, I can tell you right now they are affected by it.

Interesting. Because I never had these types of symptoms until I fell on my head. And the more falls, the more car accidents, the more sports concussions the more increased the symptoms became, until now they are a permanent part of my life.

I've had 3 mild concussions this month. One from a bad parachute landing (I'm in the Army) and 2 from boxing. Will this depression and brain fog go away? It's only been 4 days since the last hit and I'm getting medical care. I feel fucked up and I'm scared I won't go back to normal. I'm also very concussed help me put here

Simple answer ... they have amnesia of the concussions . Be careful what answrs your patient is giving because the patient may not know or remember. I took alot of hits to the head . Dont listen to a word i say.
