Never has an old man wearing Halloween costume look this cool.

It's incredible how Classic Loki was able to project Asgard because he missed his home so much. But it's also sad that he didn't get to reunite with his brother. All he wanted was to go home and see his brother again.

Even though Classic Loki died, he accomplished what he set out to do, so in fact he won. That laugh at the end is a laugh of triumph, which is exactly what Loki would do.

That single tear rolling down Classic Loki's face makes this scene.

A prince who lost everything, even himself, once ran away from his destiny, hidden with regrets and shame.
At the end of his journey, the last thing he gets is his memory of home.
Shouting out the Glorious Purpose at 'the end of time' with the final shine of Asgard.
It's sad, romantic, and fucking beautiful.

3:09 The fact that his laugh reverberates through Ailoth is so powerful. It’s the perfect “Lost the battle, won the war” move - and he is GLOATING! He gets to do a full blown villain suicidal cackle so powerful that it travels through and from an otherworldly terror - with nothing but sheer hoy in his voice

For once, in his millennia upon millennia of existence, he gets to be the hero, defeat the bad guy, and gloat about it as he dies. Exactly what he wanted

Emotional scene. Without his help, Loki wouldn’t be the god of all timelines, the butterfly effect is truly beautiful

This is one of the best scenes in the entire MCU! The Music is so good in this! Loki is peak Marvel!

I love the use of “Ride of the Valkyries” for classic Loki. Valkyries carry those who die a worthy death into Valhalla, the Norse afterlife. Classic Loki died a worthy death, protecting the two Lokis who would save the world from a terrible, cruel fate. That was his Glorious Purpose, and he died worthy of Valhalla.

At the end of all things, Asgard stood once more, one final time.

After watching S2, and rewatching S1, and then rewaching S2 again, i've come to realize that loki's glorious purpose is actually sacrificing themselves so the others can fulfill their purpose

Original Loki sacrifice for thor so thor can spin the blok with Thanos

Old Loki sacrifice for Loki and Sylvie so they can meet Kang

Variant Loki sacrifice himself so he can save his friends

Damn this Loki Series is a peak Marvel Series

Richard E Grant, this role, perhaps was not the most difficult or deeply written part of his career, but he still put his considerable talents to use and created a Loki I have wanted to see all my life. His performance brought classic Loki to life perfectly, and made that silly costume look amazing. He is deserving of high praise.

"I cast a projection so real, even the mad titan believed it" still my favorite line in Loki.

Classic Loki is crazy powerful to be able to create Asgard! It's also such a great moment when he shouts "glorious purpose". His glorious purpose is to help two variants of himself go on to find out who is behind the tva and take them down!

I may be wrong, but i love how when classic Loki creates Asgard the "Ride of the Valkyries" plays or at least a variation of it. Because Asgard is Valhalla, and the Valkyries were tasked by Odin to bring those who died in honourable combat to Valhalla to fight alongside the gods when Ragnarok came.

This entire 3 minute scene always gives me chills. Especially when classic Loki stands up bravely at the end🥲

I always love a self sacrifice moment with a character that greets their death with genuine harsh laughter
