Alduin death animation is not that dramatic in context, but if all dragons died like him, it would be too exaggerated.

I've had that happen in my molded playthrough. I think it has something to do with deadly dragons mod from nexus I think and I think that dragon varient is from the diverse dragons collection mod, I use that mod too

Imagine if there were killcams where you stomp on a dragon’s lower law, put your sword through its upper, then absorb its soul with a telekinetic animation as if you’re legit sucking it out Shang Tsung style, through the mouth, with the corpse mummifying similar to the draugr. This way the corpse doesn’t look intact, while also not being completely skeletonized.

Another way for the DB to kill a dragon would be to climb up onto its head to do something similar, but with an axe or battle axe. The DB plunges the axe right into the dragon’s skull and the shear force of the impact leaves the dragon weak enough to have its soul absorbed. The DB then absorbs the dragon’s soul through the gaping wound.
