Hi, we are Stephen, Jess, Hunter and baby Koa - an Australian family who have had quite the journey. After travelling the world as a couple in 2020 we had our very first baby, we then spent the following year self-converted a van before moving into it full-time to drive around Australia. Cut to 2023 we welcomed our second child Koa into the world before resuming full-time travel around the world.

Welcome to Oslo! Glad you liked it. However, DO NOT fly your drone in downtown Oslo (or inside 5 km. from an airport). The whole city center is a no drone zone. Fines are usually 10-12K, seizure of your drone, and depending on your citizenship/residency, you can be deported and be given a ban from entering the Schengen area. And yes, this does happen (Google for more).

Its also important to know that you can bring 4 kids between 6 and 18 free of charge on the bus and train and tram and subway during the weekends. Kids under 6 always free. This is good and important so people can get out and to activities on weekends.
Yes, Sunday’s everything is closed apart for cafes and restaurants and bars

Fun fact about Haralds vaffel. This place was originaly started in his appartement by a guy called Jonathan that had a window next to a busy Bus Stand. So he started making Waffels in his kitchen, selling it out of his window to the ones waiting for the bus. Everybody loved it except the food and health departement that demanded him to quit. Forunately it turned out ok with the people of Oslo buying so many wafffles that he could get his own place.

I love how your children are getting the best “school field trips” all over the world. What a blessing to explore and learn this way.

I did a two-week road trip through Norway in June and absolutely loved it. The people are just amazing, and the landscape is incredible. And of course, the cinnamon buns and waffles are to die for. Enjoy your time in Norway<3 I'm already excited about the next videos!

Fun fact: there is one Norwegian XII/XIII century church in Poland. Vang Stave Church is a massive tourist attraction and functioning parish. Located in Karpacz, Karkonosze mountains.
Greetings from 🇵🇱🤗

Brown cheese truly is Norway's biggest food export. My grandmother is Norwegian and she loves it. I've learned to like it and it's unbelievably good on freshly baked bread.

It is good timing for a vacation to Norway. Our currency has weakened considerably in the last 5 years. Everything is 20% cheaper than it used to be. So make sure to enjoy it to the maximum while our currency is struggling :)

I think it's so weird how us norwegians take our country for granted lmao (not all but u know what i mean) I just did a long drive from Oslo-Trondheim-Bodø and back to oslo and WOW...I've been all over Norway many times but man is our country gorgeous.

OMG when were you in Oslo? We were there 3 weeks ago as we backpacked with our 2 kids from the Uk through the Netherlands, West Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Ended in Rovanemi seeing Santa of course on the santa express, saw Coldplay and so many other experiences! We did not fly there, took ferries, buses and train but had to fly home. Have fun! Loved Oslo, best place! Swam at the beach by the wheel, had an hours tour on a boat, went up the opera house roof, ate at Salt..just amazing!
