What kind of projects do you assign students at an intermediate level? Once they've learned dynamic memory allocation/elementary data structures like linked lists (in C)? I'm looking to work on harder/longer projects in the summer but I'm sure where to start especially since any suggestions online don't come with a spec like they would in class setting.

Hello, me and a friend want to work on a small project, is it possible to create a project together when he is learning html and im learning python? So like he does front end with bootstrap and I do back-end with django.

If this is possible, how do we start out? We are both beginners, how do we collaborate on this?
