I watched several videos on this topic, and I like how you started with an actual numerical demonstration before using variables to show how the formula is derived. But the one thing that would definitely confuse the viewer is that during the numerical demonstration, you did not show why it is important to divide both sides of the equation with r-1 as a final step to get the sum. Granted that in the example r=2, so r-1is 2-1=1, so it was unnecessary to do the division. If the example geometric series had a ratio of 3 (e.g., 1, 3, 9, 27, etc.), the division would be a necessary step. Thank you for making the video.
