Yup when I get In and Out burgers to take home stop off at lesser burger place to get better fries.

In-N-Out sells the most tasteless, anemic and lifeless fries of all burger places. And the fact that you have to order them a certain way (well done or animal style) just proves the point that they suck ass to begin with. What they need to do is use actual russet potatoes, stop using crappy sunflower oil, and for the love of god, prep your fries ahead of time! Soak them in cold water to rinse off all the starch and blanche fry them. Then cook up a batch when someone places an order. Lots of good restaurants do this, why can’t overrated In-N-Out??? FFS!
