I'd say let him keep the power stocker aspect of One for All. He can't transfer it anymore, and has no extra quirks, but he still has Prime All Might potential. Maybe we can even see him make use of the stockpiled energy in different ways.

An ending I would prefer would be that deku does get the idea of giving his quirk to kill off shigaraki and he transfers it, everything that happened in the final battle happens and he faints after killing shigaraki but then when he wakes up at the hospital he realises that he still has OFA and its not just the embers, its the entire quirk and what happened at the ending of mha:heroes rising movie also happens where the transfer of OFA fails due to the one that transfers OFA and the one that recieves OFA losing consciousness/dying (in mha heroes rising deku transfers OFA to bakugo but the transfer fails since they fainted right after the transfer)i and he continues being a hero, eventually uraraka tells him her feelings, they later on get married like 2 or 3 years after college graduation, deku decides to work as a Hero UA teacher like all might was before he defeated AFO so he would help other heroes since crime decreased alot and being a full-time hero wasnt gonna be as useful as helping students through his skill to analyse quirks and find good attacks fighting ways to do with these techniques(I had no hate against deku becoming a UA teacher, I really wanted him to become a UA teacher but a one thats a hero with a quirk and is the ultimate strongest person on earth not a quirkless teacher), if he was like that it would’ve been my favorite ending, I just didnt like that deku became a quirkless teacher, didnt marry uraraka and his recognition was the same and maybe even slightly less than everyone else, true that win was accomplished by everyone but deku fought the biggest villain that literally the strongest japanese heroes couldnt even stand on the same ground as when that villain was quirkless and was incomplete body

What if Deku's quirk nearly disappeared after two years after the war. But a new villain woman appears that targets both heroes and villains seeing them both as what is wrong with the world. She is more dangerous than the One for All that even he couldn't steal herr quirk or could beat in the past so he imprisoned her and kept her in reanimation with one of his stolen quirks. But with him gone she is freed. She spent the last five months on a rampage Deku and his allies ally with villains to take this new threat down. Deku uses up all for one with his first round with the villain. But on the second round his allies fight but all of them lose in the end. But in the third round Deku uses his smarts and his heroic nature to outsmart this villian and when he needed it the most, his quirk came back. This is the gift of the previous uses who intentionally left remnants of their powers to him to forge a new power separate of the all for one. And Shigiraki who gave him 8 new powers and combined it into a singularity to combine it with his new quirk. This is a new power and is way more powerful than the All for One and One for All. This power is Deku's alone. It also changed his hair from green to black with green-bluish highlights. He has his old powers that is highly advanced and his new powers. He is the one he ends up defeating this new villain putting an end to her reign of terror.

Deku could've been the Batman of MHA. Even though he's not rich, he could've joined the support course, and teach himself or be taught how to build a high-tech suit and how to fight. That way he'll be a hero in the shadow.

To overload Shigi with quirks he didn't need to transfer em all. Would have been great if transferred all except the -
Black whip cause it was holding his body together and Power saver quirk cause it's the base quirk he mastered and he might still need something to fight overpowered Shigi to end the fight. With these 2 quirks stretched to max with similar ending to AFO vs All might last fight would have been great. With Deku's arms completely busted he could have KO shigi/AFO with his Shoot style.

I would still keep him quirkless as he was originally the idea of Izuku to be quirkless from the statement of Horikoshi as he was a student that with a different name (forgot what it was), and was not ignored by others but much like not noticeable like Kuroko from Kuroko no Basket and All Might helps him as you said. What I would also change about that, when he's finally being noticed as the more he acts on what this Izuku on the notion of saving people with a smile but a lonely smile. He wouldn't be smarter, as he actually like alot of people not noticing this, but he DOES take notes from his notebook as time goes on. So, IF he there will be a movie after the ending showing etc, he probably WOULD open up an agency after the time as a teacher is up

You’d have to rewrite the entire concept of the series because Horikoshi created One for All to justify giving a Quirkless person a superpower. This in turn would need to change the entire power scaling of the series
