SIMPLY BLUE - Collage no. 41 for the Collaborative Collage Challenge

In this video I share with some thoughts about my favorite color and how I use it to create abstract collages.

The idea of the COLLABORATIVE COLLAGE CHALLENGE project is
to create small collages out of material that comes from people
around the globe to connect with my community and to challenge myself.

The biggest challenge for me is to create collages with random collage pieces. It's totally out of my comfort zone and every singe collage is teaching me a lot about myself and collage making in general.

Even if red is my favourite colour, I love blue so much. It's the colour of the sea ...
I like this collage very much because it's kind of simple - reduced in colour for example - but there are nevertheless so many interesting differences. Thank you for this inspiring project.

I don’t think that I have a favourite colour for collage, but red and black/red and brown seem to make a regular appearance in my little collage book, I hadn’t realised until you asked. I really like this collage, especially how you used the “frame” - since I have been following you, I have been experimenting with random shaped “frames” and I really like the results. So, I tried to make a blue collage this week, 3 in fact for my collage class homework, but it was a total fail. I ended up with neutrals. This is inspiring because you really started with the color as the focal portion. I will try again! Thank you.
