I use a deburring tool basically right after I demold. It took me a while to get the hang of it, especially the swiveling head, but once I did it saved me so much time in sanding! :)

I also think heating up the sides on older projects will make it easier to shave the sides. It took me awhile to get used to mine as well. Definitely do the shaving after demolding.

I think on freshly demolded pieces it would work the best. I have a tool and love it. But I love my dremel and electric nail files too. Appreciate your tips and tricks!

I had the same results as you. To be honest I would rather just sand. Thank you for sharing xx

Maybe it would work on older pieces if you heat the resin with a heat gun. Seems like it's more of a hassle then a plus. Thanks for showing it though.🥰

Thanks for your experiment with this tool. I’ve been wondering whether it would work or not 🤔

You have to take thin layers at a time but they do the job

I have seen Steve Mcdonald using this tool but I don't know. Looks too choppy..

Thank you for the demo 👍 Not sure about the swirly head, do you know why it has this feature? I'm at a loss as to its purpose but it does the job if holding the irritating head in place 😂 ✨
