The hatchback is no longer the vehicle of choice for family motoring - crossovers and SUVs are selling in their droves.

So, should you consider an Audi Q3 over an Audi A3? Is the raised riding position worth it? And how annoying is the slopey Sportback roof? And how does it compare against rivals such as the Volvo XC40? Find out in our 2023 Audi Q3 Sportback review.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this video. Very well done!
I have the Q3 sportback with the 2L and it does have the paddle but I hardly ever use it. I really appreciate the extra torque from the 2L model because the response is very good. I think the 2L model is the sweet spot because I felt the 1.5L model may be a tad bit underpowered at times. However, my car doesn't have the lane keep assist. Probably due to chip shortages.

I own Q3 35 TFSI S Tronic for 3 months now, its an amazing mid sized car. A couple of things which Audi could improve in next Q3 would be to reduce the lag (acceleration - annoying) to make it a bit predictable & not jumpy. Second it does not have an impressive turning radius (boy its not appealing at all) especially during parking manoeuvres.
The best part which I obviously like is the addition of drive assist, sound & comfort pack - its absoultely lovely. Overall a nice car just under 40K 👍
PS: just did 1200 miles journey to Inverness & back home in 4 days & trust me the Q3 is not even a bit boring 😅with its explicit drive assist pack with adaptive cruise
