How To Jig For Walleye (Dos And Don'ts)

Jigging for Walleye is the most common and one of the most effective techniques to target Walleye. In this video I'm teaching how to jig for walleye at an absolute fish factory, Shining Falls Lodge in Eastern Manitoba. I go through jigs, rods, reels, and line choices I like when jigging up these golden beauties.

yellow braid is key. i like a longer fc leader than 3ft, i go for about 12-14 feet. it gives you some shock so its harder to snap off braid. J knot is good connection knot, easy to tie. Nice Jay
