01 - Simplify Expressions w/ Exponents in Algebra (Quotients of Monomials) - Part 1

In this lesson, we will learn how to simplify exponent expressions in algebra. Simplifying expressions is a crucial skill because it is used when solving equations, solving and graphing inequalities, radical expressions, factoring, and more.

First, you will learn that this type of problem is also called finding the quotient of two monomials. Next, you will learn how to cancel exponent terms from the numerator and denominator in the algebraic expression. Lastly, we will simplify any numbers present to get the final answer.

I watched this video the night before I had to take a math test I didn't understand how to do. Keep in mind, this was the last grade to go in to the 3rd 9 weeks, and it's a 100 point math test. I was so stressed out about these exponents, your video SAVED me! I went from barely grasping them at all, to being pretty comfortable with them.
