We used to be like you… my husband was really a great planner in everything but UNFORTUNATELY he’s gone .. so quick that until now I’m grieving. I lost my Rock, my everything . Very difficult . I was advised to move out then I can forget a bit everything in this place .. Now, I’m planning to buy smaller place since I’m alone now w/ only asst with me. Praying for strength 😢🙏🏻

Thank you for your help. I am 60, having a lot of stress, and very fatigued. So now after listening to you I am going to declutter home, learn to say no, and care for myself. I have always worked to a budget and enjoy buying secondhand and cooking from fresh food, it's cheaper. Thank you once again.

HI Jody and Mark, just subscribed and new to your channel. Glad I stumbled into your video, great advise thank you. I'm 55 and still working, I traveled once or twice a year. I went to Asia for a month long vacation. This trip has changed my thought and thinking of how I wanted to start retire a little early. Two weeks later after my trip, I decluttered the entire house and took me only 14days to do it myself. Donated over 15bags of clothing and home decors that i don't use and sold a few items at marketplace. Mininalism is my goal, now I just need to concentrate on my diet and health.

My Wife started Misplacing items in the Kitchen Daily after age 52... and other Memory lapses. The Neurologist diagnosed her with Early Alzeimers (this was 10 years ago). He was 100% correct. We have adapted to her ongoing condition . Life is good.

I do natural gardening as my hobby early in the morning under mild sunshine. I eat more fruits and veggies for my age, light exercise daily and enough rest.

I’m retired and I’m embracing my solitude, I do enjoy my own company, I don’t have time to get only. I travel abroad alone and I love it

I just retired and I have an incredible desire to purge all of the STUFF I dont use! When my mom passed away we were left with such a mess! I don't want my kids to have such an overwhelming task.❤ BUT...That's way down the road!😂

We are 10 years in advance of you. We are now 70 my wife and I am 76 and after retirement is this just the moment we decided to go to live up in the mountains, far away from the actual crazy city life, but close enough to get the medical care we can need in the future when getting older. We will enjoy our two dogs on a nice environment far from the city pollution and hopefully far away from the actual problem from Actual Modern Touristic People in the actual World. We live in the last century in a better World 🌎 🌍

First thing I did was sign up for a CrossFit class once I retired at 55. Yes, it is a bit costly, $200 per month as opposed to $40 for a regular gym but it is the BEST investment. Coming off of a desk job I was so out of shape that I knew I needed this right away. I am amazed at how much my body is changing. I have lost weight, about 30 lbs., but better than that my mobility, strength and flexibility have improved so much. I feel so GOOD!

Ok….I am 81 and I feel to retire means to give up on life and I determined early that I never would “retire”. I’ve had lots of careers and great jobs and never plan to give up. I have had a business of my own since turning 70…12 years ago. Plus I’m becoming an artist…something I never did when young and having my family ❤️😀. So by taking up drawing and showing my art and by running my pet business I feel young and busy😀. So I would never promote retiring but doing something else and never quit on life…Cheers from an American in Australia ❤️
