torque vs rpm relationship in Electric Motor Driven Machines

In this video we will explain RPM vs Torque for beginners. Torque at both low an high rpm will increase and decrease. If you were to make a RPM vs torque graph you would see that when the speed goes down the torque does the opposite. Basically what you need to know is when the RPM goes up the Torque will go down and the inverse is true. We show how you can look at a machine and calculate the torque at every individual shaft. Most common way to increases the torque of an electric motor is through gear reduction.

Great Video Terry, great to know that you can reduce or increase the torque with gearing.

I need to understand one thing because i have a little confusing about torque and speed and the performance on the motor .
The torque is how much rotation power applied on the motor shaft to rotate around its axes.
when i look at a motor curve i see inverse relation between torque and speed. But i want to know if the motor speed goes up and torque goes down, is it good or not good for motor efficiency and performance ? i mean if the speed increased the torques decreases too but what does that mean for the motor efficiency good or not ? if the torque lowers by speed means the load is not heavy and a little current motor consumes ? if torques increases and speed decreases that means more current motor consumes ?

Good explanation. But we people(other than USA) use Meter, Kilograms.

Why does the torque go down, is it because of centrifugal force?

i rewind my DC motor with more Thicker Winding coil, it became faster, the RPM increased more. But when i place remote car on the ground, it can't carry the Car, almost not moving it can't carry the load. it can fast but the Torque of the DC motor drops almost zero
