admittedly I'm focused on drawing and painting right now, but these turn around exercises seem like they would be great practice for drawing. animating seems like good drawing practice in general since you get so much mileage in a short amount of time with really important stuff like shapes, movement, perspective, emotion, etc etc.
sort of convincing myself to pick up animating while writing this, maybe replace some of the dry perspective exercises that I loath with some animated ones
