The PD-70 is good, sounds great, amazing price point too

PD70 had the most sibilance. Probably a good reason why more expensive manufacturers don't have that same freq chractersitic.

1. Shure SM7B balance, 2. Shure MV7 + PreSonus PD-70 3. Aston Stealth very nice, 4. Audio-Technica BP-40

I have a PD-70 along with the Focusrite solo..works good. Much better than USB.

It has a lot of presence... I most like Aston, it's tone, but feel it mixing would be about making it cut through... so maybe more presence better to work then on the tone in mixing... the AT seemed to have some of that "makes it sound good" element to it... so I would chose all of them all for different things... so no real verdict for me

Usually I'm listening on something Just listened on my phone and it literally doesn't matter which mic you use at all on a phone. Lol 🤣

It sounds like the gain isn't matched, which makes the comparison meaningless.

Nice comparison. The PD-70 definitely sounds good. Although the BP-40 still has the edge with a more upfront sound. Hard to decide if it would be worth the extra cost.
