Is Classic WoW Era WORTH Playing?

Today I figured we'd take a bit of a dive into Classic WoW Era. The original classic world of warcraft servers that launched all the way back in 2019! How is the population? How is the economy? Is it worth playing? Guess we'll find out!

True Classic is dead to me after what the community did; the gold buying, the mage boosting the GDKPs ya'll deserved the Dark Portal Pass and the WoW token those are perfect and fitting punishments for ruining this.

Hardcore is tight though, this is what Classic should have been about.

Come to Deviate Delight it was a dead server that it is now taking off by a player driven movement, No GDKPs allowed, blizzard disabled transfers to the server as well so no inflated prices. The movement is steadily growing daily.

I was retail andy untill war within. I enjoy me classic era a lot, everyrhing has meaning regardless of level. I would wish era tbc more than anything tho.

Im playing classic era for the first time from february, Firemaw-EU, and is the best, there are some gdkps and some items have inflation obviusly, but the most of the people is raiding and there are many pvp, even in the leveling i didnt have problems for make a party and clean dungeons .

Been playing Classic Era consistently since the server split. Luckily a few guilds were able to keep the servers alive on NA and EU. Back then there was no AH activity, no BG's. And only a small amount of raiding.

It's a lot different now though. For NA, both PvE and PvP Servers are lively. WSG pop's all day long, as there is a respectable pool of players ranking, there are several raid guilds, GDKP's and leveling guilds.
The biggest issue now is the economy bloat. All prices are extremely inflated due to GDKP's and bots farming gold.
Overall the community is good, but you either need to buy gold to participate in GDKP's or find a raiding guild that will take you. Overall, it is still definitely worth checking out the servers.

Once again intentionals artistic view shines brighter than I could ever imagine. Describing parallels between joining into a long standing server and getting into crossdressing so late into your life. Gdkps representing femboys hustling on onlyfans. Dan representing the fear that your wife of 15 years not accepting you for your new found interest in sundresses. It all just gives such a great life lesson and really makes you realize just like both classic era, and becoming a femboy, there are plenty of pros and cons and you really wont know if its for you until you dive in!

Classic Era has a lot more people dueling outside Orgrimmar. From phase 2 to 6 of Classic release people were not really chilling like this as much. GDKP is a problem for sure but you can still find groups without this. There seems to be more people leveling now than in later phases of Classic release.

the game itself is good but the community is super toxic. I only got to level 30 before deciding it wasn't worth it anymore when classic first launched

No gdkp or boosting on pve eu. If you don't expect instant groups at all times, you really can enjoy og wow feeling as 2006 last phase on pve cluster eu. Cant talk about na
