They always act like the teachers going to get sacked for being 10 minutes late for a lesson while being 10 minutes late to their lessons because they were doing "important SLT work"

I’m going to blame this on the headache and the fact that my pain meds hasn’t yet kicked in but my first thought was why the hell is the SLT walking into Maisie’s room. 🤦🏻‍♀️

One time our English teacher was late, and one boy went to the front of the class, quietened us down, and started giving us a lesson on Ancient Greek naval warfare. The teacher arrived a few minutes later, and actually let him finish his lesson before teaching us. He was an odd fellow. Another time my Sociology teacher was 30 minutes late to the lesson and we'd started to leave but she arrived at that moment. She's SLT.

at my school in year 10 it was like a week into the school term and my English teacher didn't turn up (my class was really bad by the way) and nobody realised until about 40 minutes into the lesson when someone from the office came in to check if someone was in eventually a random teacher came into supervise us about 5 mins before the end of the lesson our teacher came in and claimed she "forgot" she had our class

This happens in my geography class in y9 the teacher didn’t show up for over 20 minutes so we turned the lights of in the room and talked quietly so no one would realise after 20 minutes a teacher who had walked past 3 times noticed and came in and sat with us for 10 minutes till the teacher showed but as their wasn’t any work we just talked the teacher had went out over lunch and got stuck in traffic he ruched in and the other teacher said how good we were best lesson I ever had 😂

My English teacher was called miss Williams and one day she genuinely forgot she was teaching are class! Showed up forty minutes late and said if we kept are mouths shut she would bring us snacks for the next lesson 😂
