Man, I have to say that I've been a hardcore follower of your videos on making masks & props with very unique tools & accessories that you can get locally. I really do enjoy your tutorials so much now that I can try out different cool techniques when I'm making new latex masks. I do want to thank you for sharing this one because I'm currently working on this Leatherface-stylish Old Man mask that'll contain a mustache & beard around his jaw, has a bulgy prosthetic eyeball to his left eye, & the straps will be made of burlap dipped in latex giving it that leathery fleshy looks. It'll be pretty sick once it's done.

Great job Allen - as usual, your technique and materials have given me some new ideas.  Cheers!

This is a huge help. I would never have thought of airbrushing the hairline to transition to the mask. Now to figure out that damn airbrush...

Just what I needed to see! I recently acquired a Universal Wolf Man mask, and want to put some real hair on it.

Awesome as always, great vid. I happen to find some hair similar to that (only paid a dollar for mine)at one of those donation stores. I find a lot of good stuff like that for my props at those kind of stores. Looking forward to next Wednesday

For the top of the head hairline, a trick to hide the tracks without doing free flowing hair would be to attach the hair as if it were to hang in front of the face, and comb it back. Once you put the clear coat on, it'll keep it in place, and give you a bit more body in the hair, and make it look as if it's coming out of the top of the head instead of being glued down. Give it a try.

Having helluva time finding the faux hair. All I can find are wefts that have really long hair but the weft is only a couple of inches. Do you have online source or brand name? Thanks

Have you thought about a GoPro camera mounted on you're head so we can see what you see while you are creating your work? Just a thought

Thanks and thanks for the plastidip tip. Ive been spending a fortune on MonsterMakers flex gloss and its expensive, clogs up my airbrush and dosent look as good, so big thanks

I'm doing something like this for a walking dead whisperer mask. I'm doing beta if you know the walking dead lol. I was wondering if I should paint the mask first nd what would be the best method of painting to ensure the paint stays and doesn't crack with the stretch of the mask? I'm using an already existing latex zombie mask and cutting it and modding it. Thanks for your help and I love this video!

Another great video...thank you!  I worry your ventilation system is not at full capacity.  To wit: hair fingers.  That was hilarious!

Allen someone about a year ago asked where you got your hair for your werewolf mask from. You said you were going to send him a picture of the brand I would like to know the brand model number Etc so I can see if I can find it online. Thanks again

Once again, great work. Do you ever allow for free flowing hair or do you always spray it down?
