The funeral has taken place of a campaigner who fought to expose historical child abuse in Nottinghamshire.

For years Mickey Summers battled the authorities to get justice for survivors, and was part of a national inquiry into abuse in the local care system.

Family and friends paid tribute to a man they described as a 'fighter' and 'inspirational'.
