I've been a basketball fan for over 50 years. NBA, College, both men's and women's and was a big fan of Caitlins so I followed her into the pro's. I can honestly say that the officials they have to deal with would never make it in the NBA and wouldn't last long at the collegiate level either. Kudos to any WNBA player who keeps their cool with these inconsistent bozo's!

What I think is really stupid the referee they gave Caitlin Clark a technical for being mad at herself and slapping a protective pad. Then a player on the opposite team actually speeds up and pushes her trying to get the home stadium fans excited and that's okay. I think the referees are the ones that need a technical

70 years old, cis straight white male from a long way away who considers himself a general sports fan with more breadth of knowledge than depth - two things are obvious to me in the WNBA now - 1) CC is transformative to her sport in a similar way that Tiger Woods was to his, and 2) the officiating in this league is woefully amateurish
