Btw this already existed in vanilla, its the Passengers NBT. The passenger actually controls the AI of the entity its riding, sometimes even attributes.

FYI, Vanilla Minecraft also has a very similar command called /ride since 1.19.4. Not sure what the difference is with this command.

I'm pretty sure the command was added when we made the "this is Create 2022" trailer. You can see it at 1:20 automatically seating the player. We had to include some way of doing it automatically so it would work with how we recorded the footage.

I think Shalz should try steampunk create though. Would be fun to watch him have a play through series and experience this newish modpack.

I could see the boat Thing being useful for building big cargo vessels. Imagine a server, you have some farm, and your friend on the other side of the ocean needs a ton of stuff, so you load up your cargo ship and go across the ocean

The mod "Little contraptions" already supports create compatibility to allow for contraption on boats

The first thing that came to my mind is making a custom ship structure and just have the boat as the seat/driving element. Budget Aeronautics addon :D

You should've taken an entire woodland mansion, glue it all, and then put it onto a boat.

3:55 you can use saws intead of harversters to gather the entire kelp plant and put all the drops in the contraption's inventory
