Some important thing to note:

. Jiaoqiu with ult can carry the stacks between wave, and any enemies spawn (huge for PF, or DU Cirrus style)
. His stacks also linger and don't get cleansed for bosses with multiple phases (Pela ult gets removed here and need to set up again), which can be essential sometime.

So there are some hidden utilities that don't factor into damage but quite noticeable in practice, making him far ahead of Gui (and even more so in PF due to its nature).

I was just watching this for Jiaoqiu vs Gui since so many people say he’s just a side grade to her. This clearly shows he is better.
Also I learned a bit on how to use Pela properly from watching you fight. Use her Ult before Acheron for bigger damage… I didn’t do that before. I’m subbing :)

for point number 2 at 4:18, imo that may actually be huge in cases of needing to be SP positive. It is said that JQ needs to skill every so often to get ult but bcs his stacks last for a duration, you can get away with not having his field on 24/7, so he can be run SP positive with 4 BA if needed (specifically applicable to non Acheron teams)

4:18 nah due to enemies getting faster and faster Pela needs to skill more often now because she has poor debuff uptime it’s concerning, where as jq has a sp positive rotation as long as he gets hit once which is super easy, basic basic (get hit) skill ult, which is sp positive and for those times where he doesn’t get hit you just skill again and he’s sp neutral Pela needs to skill far more often

Honestly the most important thing I want to hear whenever Acheron is discussed, is what X means for people who don't have S1. There are plenty of us who either could not pull her LC or did not.

Some food for thought:

Dont get swayed by sheet amplification. People said Swan was 10% better than sampo. People said robin was a worse RM. Supports value are much higher than just sheet % amplification

Not to mention basically every incoming DPS that revolves around debuff will basically require JQ as break requires RM

Jiaoqiu is in the very difficult spot. It's really hard to recommend pulling him if you already have Pela, other than from the visuals perspective. If you have E2S1 Acheron, he's literally just 5-10% better than Pela, and in Acheron case, we are are talking about literally about hitting for 995K vs 1.05M and in both cases the damage is more than enough. Technically, he's BiS, but in fact - it's just better to wait and pull more Acheron Eidolons as she's about to have rerun soon. Since you would be pulling Jiaoqiu + his LC, which means 2 big pulls, going from E0 to E2 Acheron gives her huge dmg boost (depends on the support but over 50% on Average), going from E2 to E4 is another ~30% dmg boost. E4-E6 yet another crazy dmg boost. Unless you started to play recently and you don't have Pela, in every single case it's better to just wait for Acheron's rerun.

JQ is a good option for Ratio and better sometimes because everyone in the team causes damage. But it's even more for me that got Topaz E0S0 with 250~ pulls and lose the 50/50 on Robin and didn't got her. But yeah, i think that i will wait because of my garanted after 2.2 is still here so it's sad skipping JQ, i really wanted to test him with Misha and making Misha deals huge chunk of damage not only in single target like Pela.
