I like the show the way it is, not sure how I would change . If you want to see the effect of gas tax look to Canada especially Ontario where we are paying upwards of 1.30 a litre for regular gasoline

We don't need higher gas tax, we need the gas tax to actually be used on infrastructure, and for it not to be squandered on poorly built roads by companies that drag out projects as long as possible

I love these, keep doing them! Can you bring your son onboard so we can have a father-son debate on some of the topics?

We should not give people rebates on electric cars.

We are already overtaxed across the board...no more tax 'lest we revolt, imo.

I'd love to see the sales of new car combined with the sales of used cars to really see if sedans are really becoming less popular, or if the sedan market has shifted to used.

Remember the Jeep XJ? Unibody Off roading legend? One of the most desired and sought after "vintage" off road CUVs? One of the first unibody CUVs ever on the market. I think the Range Rover Defender was the one lone duck until then... anyway...

GM/Chevy/GMC does NOT have to be make the next Trailblazer/Blazer/Jimmy body-on-frame to make it a serious and fully effective Off-road capable vehicle. It would be unnecessary overkill. But not unexpected, if they did. We will see. GM is no longer so keen to bring an older model from overseas, like some others still are.

Also, the Focus Active as the only Focus model available in the US is DUMB. As an additional model I can see it selling very well. But as some cynical vestigial hold over of Fords Car lines, it is just insulting. The Focus ST (250-275hp) and RS (350hp) are two of Fords most desired cars, and I can see them adding one more the "SES" (200hp - Special Edition Sport). Ford really needs to work on making more cars people will actually want. Certainly hedge your bets with lower production numbers. But if you can sell the Mustang exactly the right way to the exactly the right numbers of people at just about exactly the right price and still be a world class performer, then there is NO reason FORD can not make the Focus work in the US.

I have to stop every 120 miles to use the restroom anyways. We need companies that are willing to install rapid chargers between cities. Ps. I agree with removing the hybrid name.

No we do not need a higher gas tax. We need the gas tax going for what it was intended and only for what it was intended. The US also needs to start charging the EV crowd the road tax. It is not right they get a pass. At charging stations it would be easy to charge them. At home charging it would be a little more difficult, but one way would be to charge them based on miles driven at the end of the year.

It's been my experience that those who propose new or increased tax aren't in the same group who pays these taxes.

I don't think that the city dwellers understand how real people who live and work in the fly-over states, use their vehicles. I don't think rancher Bob is going to use his EV and/or AV, to go check his cattle with. Lastly, if the government is going to waste my tax dollars to build-up electric grids for EVs, then they should also subsidize the gas that I put in my pickup to make it fair for me.
