This is the only boss i used a summon for, not because I was struggling for hours, but because Igon was begging me to call upon him. And I do not regret that decision at all.

This fight singlehandedly made Igon one of my favorite characters in the entire game. The way the VA delivers his lines as you take down easily the coolest boss in the entire game makes it an unforgettable experience.

Rest easy, Igon. You may have been the broken drake warrior... but you were also the best drake warrior.

Honestly such a cool design for a dragon, just looking at the injuries both Bayle and Placidusax have, I can only imagine the absolutely titanic clash between those two. Also gotta love how Bayle just looks so chunky lmao

I will say it, Igon is the best and most badass summon I’ve seen so far in a souls game. His quotes and him not dying after 3 hits love that man

Know why i love Igon already, aside from his lines and delivery ? Guy was a nobody, a coward, a guy who pillaged dead bodies on battlefields. But one day he communed with dragons, and he made it his mission to hunt and kill the scions of bayle, like the communion demands. But that chad didnt stop at the small ones, he went to the big daddy himself, lost his legs, and still didnt give up. Even in spirit he curses the Vile Bayle and lives on to fight him once more, at our side. Zero to hero.
