I know you are not sure where you stand on listening to true crime because of the idea that it’s glamorizing horrific events that have traumatized people, but Crime Junkie does an episode on Sylvia Likens. They are a girlie best friend duo who truly advocate for victims and their families and want to bring to light peoples stories and experiences with truth and grace. Such an incredible podcast. They do amazing non profit work and include stories about a lot of marginalized and forgotten people, including indigenous people, sex workers, transient people, LGBTQ+ etc. (so it’s not just all about missing white girls). I think if you ever wanted to hear true crime that isn’t glamorizing it, Crime Junkie really does a wonderful job of respecting and valuing peoples stories. ❣️

The Violence could have definitely used 180 pages being cut off. The whole wrestling thing? Cut that in the drafts. Go back to the drawing board, Dawson. I wish I could’ve loved it though
