Creatio ex nihilo is really ex deo. Since God is Being itself, the being of the universe must be a participation in his Being.

God is the creator. Of everything. We are really that lucky the moon the sun Jupiter blocking meteor the gravity. Really. Divine power is involve. God Jesus the son. Love us all

This is a very interesting point and clarifies what ex-nihilo means.
However, this is not intended to be a video on a proof for the existence of God. I've seen using the term or concept of creation ex-nihilo erroneously and this is probably what the Thomistic Institute is trying to address here, how "nothing" is defined and how hard it is to comprehend absolute "nothingness".

What are your thoughts on the Buddhist concept that everything is empty? Everything is dependant on the existence of everything else, therefore the notion of "God" cannot exhist without His creation?

With this idea of ex- nihilo. Why doesn't the existence of God count as "something"?

Don't Aristotlelian's believe in eternal generation?

I can grasp it, but it still seems logically incoherent. Nothing is nothing to create out of or from. Nothing in this sense is a universal negotiation. So, unless a being is creating from its own being, or from some other preexisting material, then it cannot create anything because creation requires a material cause, not just an efficient cause. The doctrine of creatio ex nihilo is just as coherent as “magic did it” which explains nothing. I see no cogent reason to believe creating from nothing is logically coherent or possible.

Before Christian scholasticism, these ideas are already propounded by Buddhism. Does that also prove that Lord Jesus Christ also love Buddhists, and actually Siddhartha Gautama also waiting for Jesus?

This is a pure human fantasy idea In theology and doesn't know the reality.

That is why I reject these kinds of nonsense theological concepts.

To me, this definition of creation ex-nihilo has a lot of problems. For one, it commits a category error fallacy. You are focused to use two different definitions of existence to make the argument work. One for God and one for everything else. Beyond that, it uses a definition of nothing that is pretty obsolete in modern physics. *NOTE: This is a later edit. Please read my later comment on this post.*

Theological Speculation ... doesn't prove that God exists. No matter how many verbal gymnastics you perform. Blah Blah Blah
