Melodious songs that brings me memories of 80s and 90s. I would always listen to these songs at midnight and go to sleep.
Many times in my village Elevala/Hanuabada, the families of former sea captains of Elevala village that sailed on the sea of milne Bay played the songs especially during quite nights. Having teary eyes listening to these beautiful songs and reminiscing the lovely days of 80s and 90s. Thanks for uploading.

I am so happy to see this song on youtube. I was not born there but my family comes from goodenough and this is my bubus favourite song. I cant wait to see our village when I get my passport. It reminds me of the time when my bubu, my mum and I on the verandah making brooms out of the palm tree leaves and chewing. We would always listen to this song.

November 2023 to December 2023 I was deployed to Honiara Solomon Islands to assist our Solomon Islands Traffic personnel during the South Pacific Games when I heard this wonderful and meaningful string band from Suau.
