Joe McMoneagle - CIA's Project Stargate | SRS #95

Joe McMoneagle is a former U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer and was among the first Remote Viewers to be recruited into the previously classified Stargate Project. Project Stargate was the United States' first organized research into psychic phenomena via the Defense Intelligence Agency and contractor SRI International.

In this episode, McMoneagle takes us back to the early days of the Vietnam War and how he was recruited into intelligence operations. The height of the Cold War fueled appetites for advantages over the United States' enemies and gave way to the CIA's push into "psychic and extra sensory perception" research and military applications.

Post his military retirement, McMoneagle authored several books to critical acclaim like "The Stargate Chronicles: Memoirs of a Psychic Spy" and continued his work via his private venture–Intuitive Intelligence Applications, Inc. He now teaches Remote Viewing at The Monroe Institute, a world leader in human consciousness exploration.

Shawn, this comment will get buried but I’m gonna say it anyway. I struggle with PTSD and constant sleeping problems, but your interviews allow me to fall asleep peacefully. Not because they’re boring but because they’re able to help me relax and turn off my brain at night. You have a gift, best show on YouTube. Thank you brother.

Edit: Wow…I’m really at a loss for words. I absolutely did not expect this to get the reaction it did, I appreciate every single one of you more than I can express. I am currently looking into places for treatment and help. Thank you all!

I have never in my life sat for 6 hours to watch a conversation. Great job 👏

I met Joe at The Monroe institute about 10 years ago. He was a surprise guest speaker at Gateway. I was a fan before, and was so excited to meet him. He told stories and answered questions for 2-3 hours to our class of about 30 peoples. When it was Q&A time, I was racking my brain for a question. Joe is answering someone else's question, and I thought I'd ask him what the difference between Remote Viewing and OBE (out of body experience) as a method. As I thought that, he stoped talking to the other person in the class, looked directly at me and simply said "The difference between RV and OBE is..." and answered my question in full - I had not said a word. I got chills and started sweating, I had just witnessed direct evidence of Joe's psi-abilities. It was a game changer for me. I later talked to one of our instructors and told her what had happened, she just laughed and said "yeah, Joe does that. He loved seeing peoples reactions".

This is, hands down, one of my favorite episodes; never a dull moment. I could listen to Joe speak for hours, what extraordinary human being. Needless to say, Shawn was the perfect interviewer, conducts all his interviews with grace, mindfulness, great questions, and knows how to listen (so many interviewers would rather listen to themselves speak). Bravo, Shawn!

6 hours. THAT is how you get all the info, all the details. This might take me a few sessions to watch but every second of it will be more than worth it. I absolutely love this.

This is the shit people laugh at me when I try to talk about it. The majority of folks literally can't handle the truth. Thank you for educating people with open minds. Peace and love

Dude when he explained that bunker situation I got chills this happened to me leaving my job, I’m always in a hurry to get home, when I pulled out to blacktop from the welding shop the view is blocked by 2 houses so when I pulled up I saw a semi truck about 4 seconds away on my left and completely clear on my right, I would have taken my left turn any day like I always do since I rush home, but some voice entered my head and said “Jake wait” to the point I replied and said “ok” then at that moment a White ford pickup zoomed passed the semi truck going about 55-60 mph but he was in a blind spot while passing and would have made direct impact to my truck, I always think it was God that saved me that day🙏🏼

3:53:00 As an old retired nurse, they taught us to use intuition in our nursing care. More than once I went into a patient’s room that wasn’t mine and saved a patient who needed care immediately.

Sean's interviewing skills are without exception, outstanding. He keenly listens as he sits back and allows his guest to speak without interference, and injects a question just at the right moment. This was truly another amazing interview!

This guy is really taking investigative journalism to a whole new level. I gotta say that his show is never diluted. there’s never a bunch of random guests that you’ve never heard of just giving their random opinions. His guest are
Spot on .

I'm a 60 year old South African woman and knew about Remote viewing for many years. What a brilliant subject and show. I've been following you since the beginning of your podcasts ... exceptional work that you do. Weldone, weirdly I feel so proud of you on where you are in your journey. Bravo!!

As if 6 hours, 13 minutes and 33 seconds wasn't enough. I'm still wanting more this was spectacular

I’m riveted listening to Joe. Even not knowing the military jargon, I was intensely pulled into the retelling of his experiences in Vietnam. Shawn is the best example of how a host should conduct himself. Allowing the guest to speak freely with only the occasional meaningful interjection.

IMO - this is the BEST interview you’ve done to date! As a vet myself - this man is so so so honorable and the Vietnam vets make my heart bleed. THANK YOU so much Mr. McMonagle and Sean.

Shawn has the best shows hands down. He's not afraid to expand on subjects people want to hear and are curious about. He's normalizing what real journalism should be: Curiosity.
