It isn't going to matter how good the 4000 series is if it's priced out of the stratosphere like it's going to be. Maybe people will be able to pick them up used for $750 USD in 2033.

From what I've seen of Nvidia's business strategy in the past two years, you'll pretty much see the same for the next two years moving forward. They'll tease you on the high end, then throw you some subpar graphics BS cards. In the end you still get nothing!

Here's a thought. Instead of complaining about pricing that we continue to dish out for GPU's, how about we boycott all GPU companies and not buy their products until they lower the pricing. Of course this will never happen because somewhere out there one of you are willing sell your kidney and possible your child for the next hot GPU release.

The 3080 I bought at launch has gone up 50% from what I paid and even then I was repulsed by how much GPU's have gone up.

I hate to think what the price tag of a 4090ti will be.

550W is literally what my PSU is rated for! This could easily push systems into the 1, 000w territory. Be careful if you have a space heater or any other high draw appliance!

I don't know why I'm watching your show still. Because prices went through the roof and GPUs hardly can't be found in a store shelf, what does it matter to know how good the next gen will be?
If people can't buy it, why should game developers adapt to new technologies such as ray tracing? Nothing makes sense anymore.

The electricity consumption of GPUs have become much too large. One can’t complain about global warming and then go and use one of these CPUs. Home appliances such as fridges / freezers are judged by their electricity consumption, GPUs should be similarly treated.
