T248 is just an evolution of a T150 (with a display), but still got worse FFB than a T300

The buttons, led screen and pedals have definitely grown on me with the t248. Being able to switch ffb modes and rotation on the fly is super nice. The visual cues are nice too. It feels like it was really geared for f1 games. Feels good on assetto corsa too.

I recently went all in and bought a TX base, 599 evo wheel, T-LCM pedals, TH8A shifter and GT Omega apex stand. Coming from using a controller there's a bit of a learning curve, but it's been a ton of fun. Everything foIds up and stores in a closet too. I didn't want to buy the set with the T3PA pedals when I could buy all the separate pieces and get all the upgrades for not much more money. I probably would have been happy with a logitech, but I figured spend a little more up front and I won't be itching to upgrade for a while.

Visually it's top notch ... but I'd recommend to work on the audio: use a (cheap!) dynamic microphone or some blankets to reduce the reverberation. Hi, for beginner of car simulator games, which onebis better? As here in my region T248 is around 125usd cheaper compare to t300

I bought a used T300RS (upgraded fan) with T3PA-Pro pedals 6 months ago. 3 months ago got a new GT Omega Classic stand, new Sparco P310 wheel, new TH8A shifter and new TSS handbrake. This is my 3rd Thrustmaster wheal since my Thrustmaster Formula T1 back in 1994. Very happy with it's performance, but I keep my FFB set between 80-100%. I drive an off-road truck daily so I am used to big, wide, heavy tires, so any FFB setting under 80% feels like a kid's toy!

Just subbed.. I have been in the market for my first wheel and peddles last month or so .I found your breakdowns and reviews very intuitive and instructive . So now I just payed for and now waiting for my t248 .They arrive tomorrow . I will be playing all kinds of games so the amount of button customization and better peddles swung it for me in the end Thanks and respect from the uk

Im late to the party but do you think t300/Tx is still worth the buy at retail?

For the T248, can you feel the "nothciness" of the gears?

t300rs gt is £375 and t248 is £282 where i live but im not sure if i go with the t300 rs gt because its 7 years old and it might not be supported with newer games but to be honest i like both but if you were going to pick one what woukd be out of the 2

I cannot decide between the two, I can find the t248 for 300 dollars and the t300rs gt is not available under 400~ dollars. The t248 has better build quality and is a lot newer, 6 years newer actually lol. The pedals also seem to be a lot better on the t248, but I don't know about the motor they have since the t300 is more powerful. I don't know which to choose, I mainly play assetto corsa, RBR, Dirt rally 2.0.

Just bought the T300 and really cant wait to see how it is! Only reason why I didnt go with the T248 is the loud sound and I already have T-LCMs so no need for pedals

Really loved this review! Thank you. Very helpful 🙂 I just simply like the design of the T300RS. The T248 looks so futuristic, and some people might love that very thing, but just not my style. Although the extra button options would be cool. 🤔 Probably picking up a T300RS, one dayy
