*Clear structure: 1 idea + a structure

*Be direct: (don't go around)
the person Im gonna describe is non other than my father.

*Flexible template:
> Stories: I'd like to kick off by telling you.. (what happened)
> Events: This took place... (time)
> Places: It's one of the ... I've visited

*Cohesive devices (aka Discourse markers, Linkers, Connectors) => Easier for the examiner to follow
