Has anyone experienced issues when doing the eye tracking red dot test? I have nystagmus and am worried I won’t pass the test to enable eye tracking.

hope my back extension isn't broke. WHen I went to extend back strap it moves without pushing button. when i turn knob to tighten it then locks and button has to be pressed to release.

All of the reviews are misleading…
You mate did not even try it so can not say it did worth it at all.
I have it and very good but worth it? I don’t think so.
Overhype made the job on me and i was kind of disappointed.
It looks better sure but still not sharp as they say. Re village looks good close but once you look a bit further couple meters the picture is blurry not pleasant for the eyes. The controllers too big. And literally one game so far what has been created for this headset. So maybe a year or so! Give it a try before you buy don’t be a fool!

You can only answer the question is it worth it to you. I have already decided it is worth it to me. I don't care about the wired/wireless debate. This headset has OLED panels and that was a big selling point for me. Also, while Sony has made some missteps over the years I still am a big fan of the company. I could tell this was a quality design. What remains to be seen is whether the AAA games will materialize. So that makes a purchase something of a risk. I have a high-end gaming PC, with an Intel i9 13900KS, 64GB of RAM, RTX 4090 GPU, and tons of SSD storage. But with all of that I wasn't quite ready to drop $1, 500 on a top of the line VR headset for the PC.

THE Mura effect is a bit distracting the first 5-10 mis of play however. Hope the firmware optics firmware update coming fixes some of that. I have enjoyed quest 2 mobiles and for PCVR (no mura), higher res then mobile in PC vr mode. However blacks are no where near as dark as the psvr that is literally pitch dark! ALso bright area are brighter without wash out, and the halo circle effect not near as bad on psvr2 compared to quest2. The bit more FOV on psvr2 is also nice. Praying ther will be a pcvr driver for psvr2 eventually.

Wired VR headsets are literally twice as powerful and fast

What I do to keep the VR cable behind me
is use a carabiner and clip it to the back belt loop of my pants, then just put the wire through it.

Doing that, it keeps the VR wire going straight down my back while allowing it to pull/release slack when moving around.

It's the best bang for your buck vr setup available. It's not even close. That's including the ps5. Sure there's the mura but beggies can't be shoosies.

i got my psvr 2 today and i have to be honest its not worth it, if anyone want play vr games then i advice you to buy meta quest 2 and play vr games in steam,

i advice you to only buy psvr 2 if they released a game you like and its exclusively for psvr2 like what they did for minecraft vr its only for psvr 1

150% HONEST PSVR 2 REVIEW THAT YOU WON'T SEE NOWHERE

It gets blurry, and no, I am not talking about foveated rendering, I am talking about visual fidelity (graininess), shades of the first one. Can't say I'm impressed with it at all. Talk about pre-release bias reviews from people who got sent one. No different than the PSVR 1 when you're in a game or on the main menu. Same quality pretty much. I am not joking. Hell the tracking is 10x better on the PSVR 1 with the camera, and the first one doesn't interrupt your game 100 times each session to re-program your play area because it cannot detect proper movement between the controllers and the headset. Also it cannot even scan your surroundings properly at all and needs 15 takes to do so. You waste 10 minutes every time going through that. The unit should remember your play area, spoiler alert, it doesn't. The sharpness is not perfect like on your TV, in case you expected it to be yeah. I hope eventually with future technology it will get there. But this isn't it. Nowhere close. You're paying all that money for decent, not for good, and very far from crystal clear and fabulous visuals. Whoever tells you that about the unit is clearly 100% full of it. Chuck it on and see for yourself. I had the feeling of being back on the PSVR 1 the moment I placed it on. Still blurs out when moving from left to right. It's only sharp when you're not moving and are still. What kind of garbage is that? It is exactly like the first one. And how hard is it to add a media player with a 360 video option? Is that rocket science to SONY or what? Still, I like it. Dig it. But yeah, not worth the money. Maybe if it was under 500 AUD. But for damn near 900 AUD, the heist of the century. But yeah, nowhere near a real life feel. The marketing and schmucks on the payroll that review them on their channels will tell you otherwise lol. I don't mind it though. Just is what it is. I'd rather have it than not have it. So yeah. Happy PSVR 2'ing. You will STILL be happy... but... yeah...
