I changed my aux14 battery by using this method. Way easier than taking apart the engine bay. Thanks for this!

Actually the EASIEST way to remove a fender flare is to be real close to a big oak tree while driving over and slipping off of a log on the ground. I discovered this method with my 2005 LJ. That oak took it off in seconds. May not be the PREFERRED method, but it works really well. 😂 Good job as usual

Yeah thanks to your brilliant advice I immediately broke the bottom most clips on my fender and now is flapping in the breeze. Yes they CAN break. You have to give them a little tug here don’t worry they don’t break my arse. Brand new 2024 too. Proceed with caution, folks.

This was a really great idea unfortunately for me this broke 70% of the plastic clips that connects my finder ... 2019 Rubicon .... Wish I would have gone from the top

Thanks for the help! Guys what he's not telling you is to pick up on the fender well don't pull out. I busted half of three white clips.

Hey Brandon! Thanks for this video since I'm headed out right now to replace some of the broken clips that a tree stump, hidden under muddy water, decided to tear off from my JT! I actually stopped at the dealership and was able to purchase the white clips and the plastic rivots since I was ready to remove the liner until I watched your video! 😛

Thanks for this video. Just used your method, and only broke 7 of the 11 clips in my 2021, and one that survived broke the plastic on the fender. I guess Jeep decided they were too strong in 2018 and made them weaker in the 2021?

Hey Brandon. Nice video. I used it to remove the front driver fender and install my arb single cilinder compressor. However I did break a few retainer clips. Good news is that I found them online for $0.63 a piece + shipping 👍🏻

Brandon good tip, glad all of that assembly can comes off relatively easy, will come in handy if I decide to add the Jeep factory hitch wiring harness. I like the Cat/O2 access when it comes time for replacement as well.

Just replaced my batteries. I guarantee you will cause every bit of plastic to explode. Especially if you're in the Southwest.

You just saved me so much headache it's the only spot I know of where you can run wires into the cabin from the engine bay and I wasn't about to buy a rivet gun and spare rivets!!

Half my clips broke on my 2020 fender... Don't use this method without buying clips first!

I didn’t get the LED package with our JL. But in the future, we would like to upgrade the turn signal to them. I know right now everything is back ordered.

Thanks for this video, I ordered a set of Diode Dynamic Elite Max headlights that need to connect into that turn signal connector and I couldn't find it for the life of me, their install video made it look simple, nope that's tucked all the way in there you can see it at all. Ordered a bunch of these clips off ebay for $.79 each.

Looking at the design of the white clips in question, I do not see how they could NOT break when trying to pull them out. They are designed to pop IN and the expand on the back. Pulling OUT will most likely sheer the little arms . Seems like they would need to be accessed from the back, which means pulling the liner first if you want to salvage the clips.
