Bamboo e-bike close up and cheeky test ride

We are on a cycling holiday in Europe and found some very interesting bamboo e-bikes in our hotel bike garage in Germany. I’ve seen these online before but never up close.
The hotel owner said the bamboo is sourced from Ghana and the bike is constructed in Germany.
All of the joins are constructed with natural fibers fortified with resin. They are big and bulky but obviously have ample strength.
They have a full Shimano battery and motor system, demonstrating the integration of traditional processes and modern technology.
Even though this bike was way too small for me I hopped on for a quick pedal around the car park.
What an interesting and unique product!
