By the way after all this negativity let me tell you my experience. I have been working in IT industry for 8.5 years. Recently due to maternity took a career gap of 7 months. Even after that I have got 5 offers all from big MNCs. You need to learn skills and keep yourself updated. I am a lead developer, working in Salesforce.

Absolutely true, India me bohot halat kharab hai. I’ve experience of 5 years and laid of 2 twice. And finding jobs is very difficult. Request to students jinhe intrest nahi hai please IT me mat aaye. Now a days. They are doing outsourcing of work from free lancers. Market is very bad and unfortunately will be worst in upcoming years. I have started preparing for govt. jobs.

Guys there is nothing going to be changed in job market. This is the reality. The sector is overcrowded because of influencers and most of the colleges closed their core branches.
And there is more supply than the demand if you are a undergrad try exploring new paths or instead of solely focussing on computer science and try to explore the world outside IT. Try on learning new things and try to create money from your knowledge. If you keep on waiting for a job then your life will be ruined. One fine day you will get some realisation and you will eventually end up in a completly different job or with a small business.

Let's be very honest IT is never going to boom again. It boomed back in 90s and 2000 and that phase is over. This industry is getting stagnant. The jobs which are coming back are not new but older positions which companies let it go because of cost cutting. And a lot jobs as said are coming from west because labour is cheap. So the long term growth opportunities in this industry is very less. At what rate engineers are coming and at what rate is this industry growing?? The hikes are only going to lessen and also people who will be in 30s unlike previous generation won't be having an extremely high packages being managers.

A lot of people used to work under my dad and mostly none of them have reached what their seniors simply because the rate of growth of companies are very slow or stagnant. and i have not even spoken about AI because the disruption it is causing is smtg that presently can't be guessed. So be optimist but a realist at the same time.

It’s a humble request to all the freshers and experience holders who all are part IT, please do not follow these YouTubers blindly. Rather follow the organisation or the channels who are actually doing research like Teamlease. They are creating panic with ending their statements with question mark. So that no body can take action against them as they are asking questions. Some time they will say learn DSA and after 2-3 months they ll make a video of is DSA overhyped. Please do your own due diligence and stop following these bhaiya and didi.

let me teel you something you old IT people have good experience but we don't have what about those student who don't have 60% in all MNC Not even Look for sec our resume for any kind of internship and others startup just want to free employee who work for free I learn coding by own along with full stack course in 1 year only get 8 interview meet I done in that because of my bad luck or maybe poor skills they don't select even I reach last interview round most of I crack but they give preference to reference people all those people who talk about good news and all honestly we don't even get job who can pay us survive in their city 15k in banglore 6k in pune how is that possible ? we are freshre who no value in this industry where only people judge us by past 4 year back HSC percentage is that make sense really i feel so frustrated when i am trying i dint get single call for month even apply 100 job post when you guys came up with guys their is good news !! what joke

"The Hidden Reality"
there is an increase in hiring for 2025 grads. But what about 2024 grads who have just internship experience yet? They are still not getting chances. Companies either want +1 year of experience or want to hire freshers for internships ( i.e., 2025 grads ). But they forgot about 2024 grads who neither have +1 year experience yet and no longer sit for 2025 on-campus placements.
