I don’t think they’re going to add more plate colors. I’m from CA originally and the black/yellow plates were old, like pre-1970’s. Blue and yellow was I think 70’s & 80’s, white plate with print was 90’s and the cursive was a bit later. They do have vanity plates though so those could be added but for anyone wondering, that’s the deal with the plate colors. I like to put the older plates on older cars myself.

You can also pick up your plates and change them at the car meet!! So that way you never have to leave locations just call the car there and also earn car rep points while doing so… be sure to wear a piece of car meet clothes to ear point faster.

I hope naming vehicles by something else becomes a thing too. The regular name for it will show up most times but if you’re doing something like sorting vehicles or talking to mechanic then you will see custom name. Should also be a set to default option so if someone wants the regular name back then they can get it without having to know it by heart.

I started in 2020 and I didn't know they added custom plates then removed them so I went on my social club and asked rockstar to add custom plates and I guess lots of people wanted them back
