I am spanish 71 years old and know those dogs, galgos and also podencos are very badly treated by hunters. I have been rescuing them within my possibilities as this demands a lot of money. Galgos are one of the best dogs you can have. They do not bark as others dogs do for instance and never bite. My congratulations!!!

My dog was a hunting dog abandoned in the woods of North Carolina after hunting season was over. He was skinny, showing his ribs, and had mange. After I got him from a rescue organization, it was a challenge to get him better, but all his fur came back in and the mange gone. He turned into a sweet happy dog that is snoozing on the couch next to me. Rescue dogs are the best!
