It's funny how a video from 12 years ago, is still helping people out today. Here I am checking this out, adjusting my NT carburetor.

It's pretty cool that Napoleon Dynamite has a motorized bike.

Thank you this video just helped me a lot. I needed to make my bike a little bit leaner and it’s running so much better. Thanks

A few things: 1. Check your intake for any debris clogging it up or in the carburetor itself. 2. Check the float and float bowl. If the float is full of fuel, it's not regulating the fuel properly so get a new float. 3. Check the float bowl mechanics. Make sure the plunger is installed properly and it's not sticking or stuck.

Yes, we recommend any 2-stroke synthetic oil. 16:1 ratio for break in then switch it to 24:1 or 26:1. If you're planning on riding it for 60+ miles a week, I stress that you maintain that motor and make sure it's broke in FIRST before attempting that weekly commute. Maintenance include but not limited to: carburetor cleaning, check every bolt and nut after every ride. LOCKTITE is your best friend, and etc.. Hope this helps.

Interesting. May try this. My engine is new an still on it's first gallon but the jerking and lack of power at slow speeds sucks. Full throttle seems ok. Have a Dax rt carb coming so not sure how much time I'll spend on this one.

Thanks for the video!

Hey bikeberry I was riding my motorised bike with my friends and then it just turned of but it didn't blow up I had no spark and I looked at the spark plug and it's black so that means I need a new spark plug but do I need anything else like a magneto or coil thank u

Nice video guys! Just make sure if you're adjusting with the needle at first to not go over 2/3 throttle, otherwise the main jet is taking over the fuel! I don't know why, but on my BGF engines I'm having to lean out the main jet to a #64 jet on all of them. Do your guys' bikes run rich?

Should I change my jet to a smaller one like 0.72? I was fouling my plug when I had the clip in the middle. I moved it to the leanest setting and it hasn't fouled. I am running a 50:1 oil ratio. The plug is still black with some carbon build up, but doesn't foul. I was fouling every 30 minutes I'd say, now with the leanest setting, its lasted 3 hours and hasn't fouled! Is 50:1 too little oil?

What's up I just want to say appreciate you doing a hell of a job. My first bike I got about 2 and 1/2 3 months ago and then it was broke down 4 days out of the week I paid $400 too much it added up to $700 after the bike and the motor kit everything turns out the same engine was 400 I could have got the bike for $150 I'm not going to say where I got it from but it was very shitty first impression I took my time and everything correctly out of the box the engine would not start it took a week I finally found a video of a guy named being also who explained about the clutch coming from the factory sometimes you have to tighten it up so I typed it up and it got me good and going and after that the back wheel hub broken shattered it's down for another week then I had to order a new carburetor in about 2 days after having the carburetor the Pistons in the engine basically shattered I was mixing my gas and oil correctly because I was using this to get back and forth to work and you know I wasn't able to write it to work one damn time I will say that the guys from umoto, great customer service cuz I didn't I got the bike I called them and the guy was on the phone with me everyday texting me calling me back so you this company here and umoto. I'm just thankful that we're able to have somebody we can call and actually care about the person's problem but I ordered the bbr tuning I got it about 3 days ago and man I haven't had one problem with it and that makes me so happy my old bike I literally took the bike and the motor and all and threw it in the damn dumpster I ended up going back out to get it cuz how I spent $700 on a $300 bike and motor but I'm learning the ropes now and I got to go to guys. And like I said it means a lot it's actually call a company and they actually care about your problem and will work through it with you 🙏❤️🖖

How do you know when your idler screw is shutting the gas flow off  is it when it is screwed all the way in or when it is screwed all the way out? Also what can I do if the throttle is not returning to the idle position. I think it has something to do with the spring also my bike is brand new. I have only been able to start it once for a short time becasue the cheap Chinese bolt broke of the chain tensioner and then the tensioner destroyed my rim.I have it rebuilt to cold today for any testing but am trying to get it ready for when the roads are clear and a milder temp day any tips would be very helpful.

I have installed a 48cc engine to my bike two weeks now, so it is quite new yet. But I'm facing a problem with my spark plugs that get smokey and dark too quickly and the engine dies. Should i try to make the mixture more lean in order to reduce the smoke in the spark plugs?

When mine is full throttle it four strokes and I checked the spark plug and it was black do you rekon I should go leaner on the jet?

I just bought a bike with motor off CL.   The former owner says that when you start it, it runs wide open.  The throttle cable is actually loose and seems to no effect, what should i look at 1st?
