I love the Queen of Fashion. Without her there would be no Margeila. No Gvaslia. No Junya Wantanabe. Black is essentially the Old Comme des garcons before she started really expanding the line. Comme des garcons was alot of Black. This women is a trail blazer. While everyone was late trying to get downtown below Houston she left Wooster street way before this trend which is where CDG started and went to 22nd street to the art gallery district. Then she opened CDG Black in the Meat Packing district on 17th street at the start of the highline. She then opened DSM on Lexington and 30th street on the east side where DSM is the only high end fashion store for blocks. Now with Barney's closed and all the brands taking back their own inventory. You only have Bergdorf and Saks which don't carry nearly the stock she has and exclusive at that. Her new proteges are Sacai, Undercover and somewhat the brand Kolor. One other tid bit; you won't find anything at DSM any other place. It's made for her stores and her stores only. So if you go and see something get it then or it will be gone.
