Novation KS4 Demo

Not enough demos of this lovely keyboard here on YouTube!

Recorded late at night, so apologies for the mistakes, and my mixer is playing up so a few audio glitches.

Same sound as the Novation KS5 and KS Rack - and very similar to the A-Station, K-Station and X-Station, as well as the V-Station plugin.

Just wanted to note that I accidentally left my compressor switched on while recording this, which is why the patch at 1:16 sounds a bit strangled.

Excellent programming all around! The Fallen patch is perfect! Since owning the KS4 since its initial release, it is the only synth that is guaranteed to always be a part of my studio (and I have cycled through a lot).

I'm hoping to buy a KS5 soon from facebook marketplace. That tone at 5:03 is SO GOOD. I've never had a synth before so designing sounds like that will likely be difficult. Is that a default patch or your own custom one?

I really like these sounds.
I've found a KS station for 200€ with 3 broken faders (40€ of replacement parts)
my question is: do I really need this novation as I've already have an Ultranova and the V-Station (the KS Station vst) ?
I like the hands on controls and the ability to do proper sync (which the Ultra lacks) but I think that the sound might be almost the same :/
