Very good video!
Here are a few thing I would like to add.
-Be very careful with wild insect because even if you sanitize them they could still have pesticides. So definitely do not collect insects in or near places where pesticides are used.
-You can not only boil but also freeze foods to sanitize them.
-When feeding fruits be very careful as they often have pesticides on their skins. So wash them thoroughly or just cut off the skin to any fruit you feed to your ants.

One of the favourite foods of all ant species I've encountered are termites. Termite keeping though, is a whole jar of worms filled with sketchy information and naturally abysmal growth rates. Their fragility made me doubt their status as a notorious pest.

10:08 when mine were new and I put seeds down they robbed my serving plate blind! I refilled and they did it again and after stocking up on seeds (for bread) they slowed down and kept some in the dish...
I saw them build chambers to store some of the bread and from there on it they trickle away eating/replacing their storage on the regular.
