📌In the 18th century, most armies marched only 15.9 miles (25.5 km) per day. Napoleon’s Grand Armée, however, could cover up to 30 miles (48.2 km) daily, allowing him to outmaneuver and overwhelm his enemies with speed.

In the end, it took nearly all of Europe to bring Napoleon down. That alone speaks volumes about how unstoppable he truly was at his peak!

Napoleon mastered the art of maneuver warfare, using speed, deception, and flexibility to outmaneuver larger and slower enemy forces. His ability to divide and conquer, as seen in battles like Austerlitz (1805), made him nearly unbeatable.

Napoleon was a brilliant military tactician but his ego and over confidence cost him in the end. When you win continuously don’t think you’re invincible.

The real reason no one could beat Napoleon: There was nothing they could do.

The only strategy one can employ was "When he approaches, we run away."

I found this one fact brilliant. The French army was able to move quickly and outmanuever the opposing armies because they supplied each soldier with pouches that carried salted fish they could supply from the Grand Banks. Feeding the army when on the move was a constant problem. Fish from Louisberg in Canada was instrumental in keeping them nourished to move quickly and fight.

I'm French with a quarter Corsican heritage, and I still learned quite a lot of interesting stuff (or say, relearned)! Also your point of view and story telling is refreshing from where I stand.
Thanks for your passion and dedication to your craft—please keep up the great work, some of your videos have been particularly entertaining and enlightening lately!

Good vid. Historically (mostly) accurate. I grew up in Louisiana, USA. I learned later that Louisiana state law was based on the Napoleonic Code not Common English law an the BAR exam was very different from the other states in the US. Louisiana has Parishes not Counties. I learned from lawyer friends that if you wished to move to Louisiana and be a lawyer, you had to relearn the legal system of the State, which has some differences from Common English law.

Napoleon was NOT short, at least among his contemporaries. He was average height.

Napolean was known for his military tactics and strategic, quick decision making. He won the trust of the French troops and public support during the revolution.

You skipped the battles in Haiti 🇭🇹 where he was pushed to near defeat by end of 1803

There's a reason Portugal was not mentioned in this video: Napoleon tried to defeat Portugal 3 consecutive times and failed.
