Gorgeous cards. I love the idea of paint over the darker background. I’ve used distress picker dance stain to lighten a patterned paper, but you got amazing results with the paint. Really beautiful cards.

Wow! I myself have some bold patterned paper and have often wondered how to use them. Now I have some ideas. Initially I wasn’t sure about the white paint, but once the sentiment was on there it looked amazing. I love both of those cards but the vellum heart one is definitely my favourite.
