Easiest way to defeat Knight's Cavalry Boss through accident | Elden Ring

Knight's Cavalry is a boss who appears only at night in the northeastern part of the map on the bridge. This is a high-level boss who is not easy to defeat in a fair fight in the early stages of the game. But the open world provides opportunities for tricks.

At first I thought you were going to lure him onto the poison path, but turned out this is one hilarious boss fight ... watching the big guy struggling for his life

I’ve died more times doing this than actually trying to fight him.
He tracks me through the wall and just one shots me, through the wall off the cliff.
He just kind of ended himself when I tracked him through the poison a few times.

I just did this after tons of retries with the poison path. It worked after three tries. The key is to NOT stay on your horse after you jump over the side of the bridge. If he tries to jump on your 'safety island', just dash away under his legs to the other island and then double back. He'll drop to the cliff after.

Can confirm this still works today. I Just did it. The first time he faded away and teleported back to his starting spot, but the second time I was swinging at him and he didn’t fade back to his starting position. Try attacking him once he gets stuck and even if the attacks don’t hit it may cause him not to fade back to the start

Can confirm as of today this still works like a charm, he killed me with 1 hit the moment he fell and died but I guess the game registered him dying before I did so I got the runes and the ash of war. The poisen method definitely doesn't work anymore

Can confirm as of new patch this method still works. He’s a bit more locked onto the map but he will fall eventually.

It kind of got patched because he respawns but if you get him into the crack of the hill and just jump out words with your horse then jump back he will fall but do it fast so he doesn’t despawn. Ty bro

I got this on my second try.

I even died, but while it was showing the YOU DIED screen for me he fell and then it said ENEMY FELLED.

When I resurrected at the site of grace it showed that I gained the Bloodhound's Step Ash of War. I went back to my death site and retrieved my 42, 000 runes.

My son found a much easier way to defeat this boss. Hide behind the bridge (on the outside, same area as in the video). When the Knight spots you, run past the rock and onto that thin ledge that's part of the bridge itself. The Knight will aggro and attempt to reach you, and fall off within seconds.

As of December 2022, can confirm it still works, took me a couple tries to get him to fall in the right spot, try the rightmost ledge after jumping over the wall

I discovered this on my own on complete accident and laughed so hard because it took me 3 attempts

It took alot of tries, but as soon as he one shot me and literally killed me he jumped off and he died just in time right after me 🤣
