This whole fight is literally me hoping that I don't get in the situation where one rolls on the ground and one bounces at the same time towards me.

When I first found this boss, I got real excited, then I saw the second one come to life :(.

An important thing that this guy doesn't mention: When they do their bouncing attack, they will attempt to crush you at the end of their first bounce, while the second bounce goes behind you. Don't try to outpace the second bounce. It will only end in misery.

And this goes for every other boss, too, but DON'T LET THEM CORNER YOU.

Also, stay close to either active Watcher Knight to increase the chances of its slash attack, as they only do it when you're close, and it's the easiest move to dodge.

For bonus, if you have a dream nail, you can hit one of them with it even as they're roaring as they come to life (they're normally invincible at this point) to get some extra soul

If you need to recollect yourself, run away to the other end of the screen. When they're offscreen (or some similar distance), they will walk towards you, which is a great way to break up their attack rhythm and sync them up (but watch out for the simultaneous rolling attack that will follow).

I know that this is pretty late (and also ind of a lot), but this needs to go out there.

in your video the knights move in a synchronized manner. that's very rare. in my runs they almost always use complementary attacks at the same time which makes dodging them quite hard.

Worst boss in my opinion. It’s not like the mantis lord where it’s a gank that feels fair. You have almost no time to heal and the fight as a whole feels unfair when the second one joins

I feel like this boss is only hard cause they always attack when offscreen, not letting you know which type of role they're doing. It makes it all the more infuriating when they corner you with a ground role and a bounce role.

Before the fight starts you can charge up fully by dream nailing the corpses.

just finally beat these clowns with an absolutely random charm assortment: shaman stone, shape of unn, grubsong, unbreakable strength, and defender’s crest. i think shape of unn was my saving grace, honestly. being able to move while healing is a godsend.
as a side note, having the shade cloak is INCREDIBLY helpful for this fight, so if you’re having trouble and don’t have the shade cloak, try and grab that if you can !

Cool, but how do I beat the 20 times more aggressive version of the boss that is in my game? They *never* slowly walks towards me, only roll, usually one on the floor and the other one bouncing while he rolls, making it extremely difficult to dodge. If they behaved like this in game I wouldn't need a guide.

A less aggressive boss and the best weapon in the game makes it easier.

For people looking for additional help in the comments:
General agreement that Shaman Stone & Flukenest charms make it much easier
Shade cloak definitely recommended
Sharp Shadow (shade-cloak-related charm) also helpful
Nail should be at least Channeled Nail. You can easily get the pale ore for it by getting 300 essence with the Dream Nail. The snail shaman will give you a pale ore along with some other stuff. And in case you didn't know, you can get lots of essence through dream warrior encounters.
